I am often asked for resources as people begin to question their childhood faith. This process is called Deconstruction and it began for me and my family about fifteen years ago. Looking back, I realized that books became stepping stones for me to take steps forward in my thinking. I created this book list on Pinterest in roughly the order that we read or interacted with these books, to show the progression of our spiritual journey away from fundamentalism. This list is in no way exhaustive, and new books are being written every day that will carry us forward, but this selection set us free while giving us the structures to think in new ways.
